Reuters has reported a new partnership between LG and Netflix that will allow consumers to play Netflix movies directly from their TV sets.

LG plans to sell the Netflix enabled TVs from March. The plasma TVs will be available in four sizes – 42, 47, 50 and 60 inches. The TVs feature the same software as featured in the recent partnership between LG and Netflix for internet/Netflix enabled Blu-ray players and set top boxes.

Netflix also plan to partner with Microsoft to deliver their movie software on the XBox 360.

Netflix spokesman Steve Swasey told Reuters that “the goal for Netflix is to be ubiquitous” on whatever consumers use to connect Internet to television. He added that Netflix is also working on deals with other electronics vendors.

The new net enabled sets will be on display at CES.
