Google cuts price on Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P as part of back to school sale

Thinking of buying a Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P? Google has cut AUD$100 off the price of both flagship Nexus devices, as part of a back to school sale being run through its own online store.

The LG-made Nexus 5X is now priced at AUD$479 for 16GB, and AUD$559 for 32GB. It is available in a choice of black, white, or ice blue.

The Huawei-made Nexus 6P now starts at AUD$799 for 32GB, AUD$899 for 64GB, and AUD$999 for 128GB. The 32GB model is available in a choice of aluminium or graphite, while the 64GB and 128GB models are also available in white.

During the company's CES 2016 press conference, Huawei announced a gold version of the Nexus 6P, but this configuration is currently not available to Australian customers.

Google has not specified how long it's back to school sale will run for.
