OPPO today announced the OPPO A7 Pro 5G, the latest A Series model designed for everyday usage and photography. With a dual 50-megapixel camera array, a huge 7400mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and a host of other innovations, the new phone delivers great features, long-term performance, and solid durability.

The main rear camera features an upgraded half-inch 50-megapixel sensor that increases the amount of light capture for dramatic improvements in low light environments.
The front selfie camera also utilises a 50-megapixel sensor with a wide field of view that helps you fit more friends in frame. AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch recognises how many people are in frame to switch between 1x zoom and 0.6x zoom.
Further AI editing options are available, including AI Portrait Glow for automatic lighting effects, AI Popout that allows for collage creation, and AI Remix Collage for creating and customising stickers.
Hardware and design
The OPPO A7 Pro 5G is designed with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1400 nits of brightness.
It’s designed to stay connected and keep running smoothly even during intensive tasks. The NetworkBoost Chip S1 boosts signal reception in weak network conditions.
AI GameBoost 3.0 offers improved gaming performance alongside the Glacier VC Vapor Chamber design for more stable performance in demanding apps.
The IP69K rating provides top-notch dust and water protection, and combined with military grade shock resistance, the phone is designed to withstand the real world. The phone’s 7400mAh battery is designed to retain over 80 percent of its rated capacity even after 2000 charge cycles.
When it’s time to recharge, OPPO’s 80W SUPERVOOC system can fully recharge the phone in just 70 minutes.
OPPO A7 Pro 5G pricing and availability
The OPPO A7 Pro 5G will be available from today, 15th October at all major Australian retailers, as well as the OPPO Australia online store. Handsets will be available through Vodafone from 22nd October.
It’s available in Surfing Blue and Shine Titanium. The Surfing Blue finish features a layered, see-through 3D effect that shifts depending on your viewing angle.
