The internet is undoubtedly one of the best resources of content and media in the world today and a lot people has become accustomed to accessing it anywhere and anytime either through our our notebooks and computers or when we’re on the go with our smart devices.

However, there are just some times during the day that we just can’t go online and get the information you need. So a growing number of developers and companies have added an offline mode in order to keep their apps productive even when not connected to the internet. YouTube is the latest company to announce that its mobile app will soon have an offline mode.

The new feature will allow its users to watch videos even when they are not connected to the internet. Specifically, the new feature will let viewers add videos to their devices and watch for a “short period of time”.

Unfortunately, YouTube wasn’t able to clarify what they meant when they said “ a short period of time” as this could mean a number of things from a few minutes to a few days at a time. The update is scheduled to arrive by November, so we’ll just have to wait and see what the people from YouTube will announce in the next few weeks.
