Yamaha’s BD‐A1020 Blu‐ray playercompletes the Aventage Series III story, serving as a universal disc player that supports high definition audio formats such as SACD (Super Audio CD) and DVD‐Audio.

FLAC file playback is supported enabling users to get high-quality digital music. Audio Pure Direct signals Yamaha’s audio ambitions for the BD‐A1020, as does the inclusion of a 192kHz/32‐bit DAC (digital to analogue converter) to provide the type of audio you would expect from Yamaha.

Equipped with digital and analogue outputs, the unit provides versatility for the serious home theatre enthusiast. Simultaneous outputs ensure integration with any home theatre or multi‐zone system.

This Blu-ray player is claimed todeliver enhanced functionality when connected to a wireless network. With built‐in wifi, the BD‐A1020 offers the benefits of a network Blu‐ray player without requiring a hard‐wired Ethernet connection.

YouTube Leanback compatibility enables users to watch YouTube videos directly from the unit, while interactive content from BD‐Live and BONUSVIEW is also supported.
