Microsoft is continuing its thrust to expand and improve its app ecosystem with the addition of more mainstream apps. Today, two game developers have announced that they are currently readying a number of games that will arrive in the next few months.

The first of the two developers is French developer Gameloft. According to the company’s official press release, there will be a total of 15 games which will be released within the next 12 months. These new titles include Aslphalt 8: Airborne, Dungeon Hunter 4, Despicable Me: Minion Rush, Total Conquest and Six Guns to name a few.

On the other hand, Microsoft’s recent acquisition – Amiga Games will also be providing a number of titles to the Windows 8 and WP8. They will create special versions of their titles that will take advantage of the operating systems’ unique features including live tiles, cross platform game data sharing, and Snap and Share.

Initially, Amiga Games will add around 50 games into the platform and from then on will push for more titles in the future.
