Vaya offering unlimited talk and text for AUD$16 per month

If you're still someone who predominantly uses a phone for making calls, Vaya's latest plan may be for you. The budget telco is now offering what it says is Australia's cheapest option for unlimited talk and text, billing customers just AUD$16 per month. The plan also includes 1GB of data.

Prior to Vaya taking the wraps of its new plan, Kogan Mobile was the winner when it came to most affordable unlimited talk and text plan at AUD$16.95 for a 30 day recharge (and 1GB of data). While AUD$0.95 isn't necessarily a huge saving, customers wanting to shave off a little more can pay AUD$174 upfront (which works out to be AUD$14.50 per month) to secure Vaya's new plan for a 12 month term.

Customers on a month to month plan are covered by Vaya's price match guarantee. Essentially, if a new or existing Vaya customer finds a cheaper (non-promotional) plan with comparable inclusions, Vaya will cut its plan's price, and customers will also get a free month of usage.
