Toshiba promises 19 hours of battery with Portégé Z20t-C two-in-one notebook

Last year Toshiba impressed with the Portégé Z20t, a two-in-one notebook that offered as much as 17 hours of battery per charge. Its newly announced successor, the Portégé Z20t-C, does even better; Toshiba says it will be able to last for up to 19 hours.

Like its predecessor, the Portégé Z20t-C is a 12.5-inch two-in-one notebook with a detachable screen that can operate independently as a tablet. When using the Portégé Z20t-C as a tablet, its battery is said to last for 11.5 hours. Users won't get the full 19 without connecting to the included keyboard. All up, the two-in-one weighs about 1.5kg when docked.

In terms of hardware, the base Portégé Z20t-C will ship with a 12.5-inch 1080p touch screen, two styluses, a sixth-generation Intel Core m5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of solid state storage. Configurations with an Intel Core m7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB storage will also be available. All Portégé Z20t-C configurations will come with Windows 10 Pro.

The Portégé Z20t-C is available now and starts at AUD$2,255.
