Toshiba adds two new five-in-one notebooks to its Radius family

Toshiba Australia yesterday announced that it is adding two new five-in-one devices to its local line-up of Radius-branded notebooks. The new entries include a 14-inch and a 11.6-inch device, respectively referred to as the Radius L40W (pictured above) and the Radius L10W.

All of Toshiba's Radius notebooks feature five-modes of operation: a standard laptop mode, a tent mode, a kickstand mode, a tablet mode and a mode where the device is laid flat for two person collaboration.

The 14-inch L40W boasts a 1366×768 display, an Intel Core i7 dual-core processor, 8GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD and up to 10 hours of battery life. It will retail for AUD$1,799.

The 11.6-inch L10W features a 1366×768 display, an Intel Pentium N3540 quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, and up to 6.3 hours of battery. It will begin at AUD$699.

Toshiba is bringing the Radius L40W and Radius L10W to Australia in June. Both notebooks will ship with Windows 8.1, but have been optimised for Windows 10, which will be available as a free upgrade.
