Thin and light design plus a choice of screen sizes are some of the features of Toshiba’s latest range of tablets launched recently..

In a first for Toshiba, consumers can now experience an AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode)Tablet screen. The 7.7-inch pocket-sized AT270 brings games, movies and photos to life in the palm of your hand, providing a vivid viewing experience on the go, claims the company.

The mid-sized screen of the 10.1-inch (AT300) tablet is designed for typing, making it a good choice for users who want to be productive in the office, while on the move or when working from home.

Completing the new line-up is the AT330. Featuring a larger 13.3-inch screen, and is suitable for viewing content like reading and watching movies, as well as being productive on the go.

The new range of tablets features the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) platform, with quad-core performance, plus a range of ports and smart features.

The 7.7-inch pocket-sized tablet features a backlit HD widescreen, while sharing content is said to be easy with the built-in Micro-USB and Micro-SD port and it also connects to other devices with Wi-Fi™ WPS and Bluetooth connectivity. It is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra Quad‐Core processor and 1GB of RAM for faster browsing and the ability to multi‐task with ease.

The three new tablets feature aluminium shells and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass displays. Each tablet is also equipped with a 5-megapixel camera on the back, along with a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for photography, video capture and chat.  There are also in-built stereo speakers with sound enhancements, while wifi, Bluetooth and multiple-ports ensure maximum connectivity.
