Three Alternative Mobile OS For iOS and Android Users

UBUNTU TOUCH – Then there’s the Ubuntu Touch for smartphones. This operating system is expected to be released before the end of the year and brings the functionality of Ubuntu for desktop to mobile phones.

According to the company’s CEO Mark Shuttleworth, the OS was designed to enable users to seamlessly use Ubuntu from any device whether it on a desktop, a tablet or a smartphone. Just like Sailfish OS, Ubuntu Touch maximises the use of gestures. Moreover, it is able to run html5 applications in a similar manner as native applications.
