This is Google’s game controller for Android TV
A key part of Google's Android TV announcement during their I/O keynote was gaming. Obviously, gaming without a controller can be quite challenging, so it is unsurprising that that Google are making their own. Developers attending I/O have already received kits with controllers looking like a hybrid between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One controllers.

Obviously, gaming without a controller can be quite challenging, so it is unsurprising that that Google are making their own. Developers attending I/O have already received kits with controllers looking like a hybrid between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One controllers. Of note are the three central buttons, almost identical to the three main navigations buttons in Android.
It is yet to be confirmed whether this controller will be bundled with all Android TVs, or will require a separate purchase. It is also possible that TV manufacturers will choose to offer their own controller designs, due to the Android platforms open nature.
