Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO today announced the local availability of the Mirror 5s, a 5-inch budget smartphone retailing for AUD$269.
The Mirror 5s boasts a 5-inch 720p screen, quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked a 1.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and a 2420mAh battery. Its front and rear cameras come in at 5MP and 8MP respectively. The handset supports 4G frequencies and runs a heavily customised version of Android 5.1
In addition to some fairly reasonable hardware specifications, the Mirror 5s' claim to fame is its titular tessellating "diamond-like" back. The prism effect is created through the use of individually cut glass sections, each with a different reflective tendency.
The OPPO Mirror 5s is available from Dick Smith as of today, and should be available through OPPO's own online store shortly.
