Telstra is once again offering free Apple Music subscriptions as a bonus to new post-paid subscribers, but the telco's new giveaway isn't quite as good as its old. New customers signing up for a 12 or 24 month post-paid "Go Mobile" plan are eligible for a free six month subscription to Apple Music. Telstra previously offered 12 month subscriptions.
After the trial period is up, Telstra subscribers will see a monthly Apple Music fee (AUD$12) added to their phone bill (unless they cancel their Apple Music subscription or plan).
Telstra subscribers on an eligible plan can activate the offer by logging into "My Account" through the Telstra website. After selecting their mobile service in the "Plans & Usage" tab, they can click "Add-ons" and activate Apple Music through the resulting menu.
Telstra subscribers with a pre-existing Apple Music account must cancel their account with Apple before signing up for Telstra's offer.
Apple Music is available for both iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
