The Acer S1 series come with a slim profile of 13mm, combined with a slew of other features including mercury-free LED technology and 12,000,000:1 contrast ratio, the S1 Series Monitors will be snapped up fast.
The S1 Series Monitors integrates LED backlight technology. It is said to eliminate the use of hazardous substances like mercury and halogen gases in line with Acer’s efforts to design products with low environmental impact. LED technology is not only better for the Earth, it is also more energy efficient and reduces power consumption by up to 68 percent, says Acer.
“The S1 series monitors were designed with the space-conscious consumer in mind, and is one of the slimmest monitors available today,” explains Gaba Cheng, Product Manager for Acer Australia. “Another key design consideration for the S1 series was ensuring that the monitor is energy efficient and has low environmental impact.”
Images are claimed to be crisp, clear and vibrant on Acer’s S1 Series Monitors. The high resolution (HD, HD+ or Full HD depending on the model), exceptional contrast ratio (12,000,000:1) and 5ms response time make these monitors highly suited for viewing multimedia, watching action movies or playing RPG games.
Available in four sizes – 23-, 21-, 20- and 18.5-inch, the monitors can be connected to home entertainment devices and office peripherals via a VGA port, DVI port and optional HDMI port.
