Grundig has expanded its Fine Arts TV series to include two new models: As from October 2010, the Fine Arts will also be available in the cinematic 55-inch format or as a more compact 32-inch diagonal version.

Along with full HD, 4 HDMI inputs and USB recording these LCD TVs with LED backlight technology also include an integrated HD triple tuner, a CI Plus slot, a HDMI CEC output as well as a second USB port. The 55-inch version comes with 200 Hz technology for motion sharpness and the 32-inch version with its 100 Hz technology equally has a very good motion rendering.

Thanks to LED backlight both models offer a brilliant picture, even at a wide viewing angle, high image sharpness and vibrant colours.

The Fine Arts models are equipped for every reception setting thanks to their integrated HD multi-tuner for DVB-C, DVB-S2 and DVB-T which means an external set-top box for HD TV reception is no longer required. In addition, the integrated CI Plus slot make the receipt of pay TV possible by simply inserting the appropriate chip card.

This allows home cinema fans to enjoy digital television in a straightforward manner – even without an extra set-top box. In addition, USB recording turns a USB stick or hard drive into a video recorder. Both Fine Arts LED TVs with the new high-end TV chassis DIGI SX include a further USB port so that the recording slot can be permanently occupied by a hard drive and the other port can be used flexibly for playback.

The Fine Arts LED 55 S and Fine Arts LED 32 S are available in two design variations – in natural aluminium or black aluminium – both with a rotating glass stand.

Pricing will be released next month.
