ASUS’s new range of computers includes the N55 multimedia notebook that features Bang & Olufsen technology, as well as the G74Sx gaming computer, the X101H netbook and the K53 notebook.

Designed for students and first-time netbook users, the Eee PC X101H netbook fits in backpacks easily with a 22mm profile and weight of just 1kg. It incorporates the latest Intel Atom N455 processors, 1GB of RAM, 2x USB 2.0 ports, a MicroSD Card reader, built-in webcam and 320GB Hybrid Storage. ASUS Super Hybrid Engine technology is also built in to conserve battery life so users can remain on the run without having to connect to a power outlet for longer periods of time.

The N55 features an enhanced version of SonicMaster Technology by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower. Combined with the latest 2nd generation Intel Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce graphics and USB 3.0, the ASUS N55 provides speed and convenience, claims ASUS. ASUS also says it can load music files in seconds.

Powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GTX 560M GPU with 3GB of GDDR5 VRAM and up to 16GB of DDR3 DRAM, the G74Sx delivers high speeds, breaking 3DMark11 and 3DMark Vantage scores. With support for the latest DirectX 11 graphics, NVIDIA 3D Vision and 3DTV Play, gamers can experience 3D content on the notebook or a 3D-capable HDTV. Memory and HDD can be upgraded via the Easy Upgrade Cover, while Dual Intelligent Fans independently cool the CPU and GPU, reducing the noise and heat emitted from the notebook. It comes with a five degree angled keyboard, soft touch palm rest and enlarged keys.

The ASUS K53 belongs to the newly redesigned ASUS K Series of notebooks. It features Intel 2nd generation Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce graphics, users experience faster multi-tasking, improved visual performance and a gaming performance that excels in comparison to competing notebooks in the same segment. User experience is further heightened by ASUS IceCool and Palm Proof technologies that keep palms cool whilst typing and detect errant touchpad contact and prevent accidental mouse pointer movement respectively. The aluminium texture cover is claimed to resist wear and tear and consumers can choose between brown and silver.
