The art world is filled with what some might say are “interesting” pieces of art but one art student found herself on the wrong side of the law when walking through an airport recently.

While waiting at Boston’s Logan International Airport, art student Star Simpson found herself placed under arrest at gunpoint while waiting for her boyfriend for wearing a sweater with a circuit board, some flashing LED’s, and coincidentally holding Play-Doh.

The authorities mistook the combination of Play-Doh, circuits, and flashing lights for some sort of bomb while Major Scott Pare – the airport’s commanding officer – exclaimed shock that somebody would wear a device like this to an airport.
