Stan scores Friends as streaming exclusive as part of Warner Bros. deal

Stan today announced a multi-year licensing deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution that will see hundreds of hours of exclusive programming added to the streaming service.

Headlining the deal is the exclusive local streaming rights to all 236 episodes of Friends, remastered in high definition. Other programs included under the agreement include Aaron Sorkin's The West Wing, The OC, Fringe and The Flash.

In addition, iZombie, Constantine, season three of The Following,Selfie, and A to Z will all see local premieres on Stan. All three seasons of The Following are available now, and the first season of iZombie will go live on August 14. iZombie's second season will be fast-tracked from the U.S. when it airs in October, with Stan planning to add new episodes day and date.

Stan has yet to confirm when Constantine, Selfie, and A to Z will become available to subscribers.

Following the service's launch in late January, Stan has scored a number of first-run programming exclusives including Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul, reality TV satire UnREAL, Community's sixth season, award winning comedy Transparent, and 50 Cent-produced drama Power.
