Sony’s SmartWatch 3 gets Australian pricing

Sony has revealed that the SmartWatch 3, its Android Wear-powered wearable, will cost AUD$299 when it launches locally. The wearable is listed on Sony's Australian online store as "currently out of stock".

While the SmartWatch 3 has similar components to almost every other Android Wear device, it is one of the first to feature in-built GPS. Other specifications include a 1.6-inch display that runs at 320×320 pixels, 4GB of internal storage, a 1.2Ghz processor and 420mAh battery said to provide two days of standard usage. The SmartWatch 3 also features IP68 waterproofing and interchangeable silicon straps.
