Sony has just added two more devices in its Android smartphone lineup – the Xperia SP and the Xperia L that offer premium designs and a range of technologies that bring the best of Sony experiences to consumers.

The Xperia SP is the larger phone between the two with a 4.6-inch 720p HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 that delivers improved viewing experience by analysing the type of content and adjusting the image automatically.

The device’s body is made from precision-crafted co-moulded aluminium frame that provides a seamless look that is both sleek and solid. There’s also a colour-changing “transparent element” with customisable illuminations which users can customise for a more personal experience.

The SP also comes with 4G LTE for fast entertainment and browsing, an 8MP fast capture camera with Exmor RS for mobile, HDR and superior Auto for high quality photos in different lighting situations and a battery STAMINA Mode for optimum battery life.

Both phones incorporate Sony’s media applications which include the “WALKMAN”, “Album” and “Movie” apps that provide online and offline content through a single access point with new ways to enjoy and share content.

The Walkman application provides access to downloaded music plus Music Unlimited (depending on region) and Facebook social integration. The Movies app gives consumers access to over 100,000 movies and TV series from Video Unlimited while the Album Application enables easy access to Facebook friends’ photos as well as browsing photos by location.

Last but definitely not the least, both the SP and L have Sony’s One-touch functions that provides an easy and instant access to the phone’s content through other NFC-enabled devices.

The new Xperia SP and Xperial L will be available worldwide from Q2 2013.
