Sony Australia has launched a new range of personal audio accessories iPod and iPhone users that also demonstrate the benefit of superior audio quality.

First are the DR-E10iP headphones, which feature an in-line remote control allowing users to navigate through their playlists and answer phone calls without taking the player out of your pocket. A built-in microphone is also included within the cord, ensuring crystal-clear conversations and the 13.5mm driver units deliver advanced audio quality. The DR-E10iP headphones are available in five colour options of green, grey, pink, blue and violet.

Next there are the MDR-EX38iP headphones, which are lightweight and ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your ear, according to Sony. They come with 9mm driver units combined with neodymium magnets, reproduce deep bass and clear treble sound, with a choice of three earbud cushion sizes, users are guaranteed the most comfortable fit. These units are available in two colour options of white and black.

Then there is the DR-EX300IPB Monitor headphones, which allow users to experience sound, whether listening to music or talking through the built-in microphone, due to the 13.5mm Neodymium driver unit. With in-line remote control, it is simple to adjust the volume, skip, play and pause tracks on a playlist. The vertical in-ear design is bullet-shaped for secure fit, comfort and sound isolation.

Finally, there are the DR-V150iP Studio Monitor Series headphones, which are said to offer a mix of studio-quality sound and advanced engineering. They have an ergonomic, supra-aural design, while the 30mm driver unit delivers deeper bass, lower distortion and a wider dynamic range, claims Sony. Reversible earcups offer single-sided monitoring and Ferrite magnets provide high energy while producing 98 dB/mW sensitivity. In addition, the oxygen-free copper cord produces good conductivity and minimal noise.

Sony is also releasing a Portable Speaker Dock – the RDP-XF100iP – that creates HiFi sound to fill any room while charging an iPod or iPhone. The built-in digital amplifier delivers 20W + 20W output power and rechargeable battery has up to seven hours of continuous playback. It has touch sensor controls and a LED display. The retractable dock tray folds away flush when the unit is not in use. With an integrated FM tuner featuring 20 preset stations, an on board digital signal processor offers a choice five sound modes and a wireless remote.
