Acer says its C110 portable pico-projector is an ideal way to share multimedia such as photos, home videos and presentations while on the move.
The new projector from Acer is extremely light and ultra-compact, while also functioning without the need for a power adapter and display connection. Using a single USB cable, the C110 pico-projector connects instantly and is powered via the laptop.
Designed to enhance mobility, the C110 pico-projector weighs a mere 175g and measures at a tiny 110x85x25mm.
The Display over USB feature also makes for exceptional ease of use, once the projector is connected to the notebook it immediately display images, videos and or presentations. In addition, the Acer SmartFormat technology supports a wide range of PC formats.
Ranging from 30cm to 254cm display sizes, multimedia can be watched without having to adjust resolution. Featuring WVGA (854×480) resolution and native 16:9 format, the C110 pico-projector provides clear, vibrant projections. It offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio and brightness levels of 50 ANSI lumens.
To achieve the best projection, the C110 can be used with the optional Acer foldable screen. With a display size of 25-inches, the screen is suitable for group viewing and can also be folded to the size of a magazine for even greater portability.
The Acer C110 pico projector combines DLP technology with LED lamp technology to ensure colour integrity and longer lamp life lasting up to 20,000 hours, claims Acer. Finally, it can achieve higher colour saturation and contrast. As a result, the images displayed are more vivid and realistic.
The Quick Start feature on the projector allows it to load in less than five seconds after the USB cable is connected to the laptop PC. With Acer InstantPack, users can pack their projector without waiting for a cooling period.
