International Dynamics has released the Olive 3HD, a simplistic server that has been designed as a hassle-free unit, requiring no software installation, networking setup or virus protection.

The sound quality produced by the Olive 3HD is due to the use of a premium 24-bit DAC with 192 kHz up-sampling.

Offering quality far greater than MP3 files, the Olive 3HD also features fan-less cooling and quiet hard drives with multi-layer cushioning to optimise sonic performances.

The storage and colour touchscreen technology featured in the Olive 3HD allows users to easily navigate through their entire music collection, create playlists and search for specific music titles all with the flick of their finger.

This feature is complemented by the free Apple iPhone/iPad remote control application available to each user.

This application convert any iPhone/iPad into a touchscreen remote control which offers the convenience of browsing music, creating playlists or even accessing different rooms all from the comfort of a couch.

The 3HD also caters for storage of up to 1,500 CDs or 5,000 HD songs for the avid music lovers and provides instant access to a vast selection of internet radio stations.
