Stock photography agency and global image market place Shutterstock has just announced today a new brand for its collection of premium images called Offset.

Offset is still running as a private beta but the company has high hopes for the brand saying that they want it to be the go to place for high-end imagery. This means that the brand’s target market would mostly include high-end editorial magazines, ad agencies and commercial buyers.

According to Shutterstock, the project currently has around 25,000 “hand-picked” images chosen for authenticity, artistic direction and of course quality. Shutterstock has also cited that they have already assembled a number of notable clients in their private beta, although the company declines to disclose any information about them.

Offset will also offer royalty free licenses with unlimited print and web usage once an image has been purchased. The brand is also promising a simplified pricing term with small files of pictures to go around $250 while larger ones will sell for about $500. Shutterstock plans to formally and publicly launch the service in the coming months.

For those who can’t wait for the official launch, you can already request for an invitation at Offset’s website.
