According to the Wall Street Journal, Seinfeld is tipped to be getting paid a whopping $10 million for the endorsement. WSJ suggested the main impetus for the ad campaign was to combat the clunky image of Windows Vista compared with Apple’s product.

The ads will feature slogans such as “Windows, Not Walls” and the theme of removing barriers that prevent people and ideas from connecting and will begin airing in early September.
