Samsung has recently launched the newest member of its compact system camera family – the NX2000.

Samsung has recently launched the newest member of its compact system camera family – the NX2000.

The NX2000 is equipped with a 20.3 megapixel APS-C sized sensor and features a DRIMe IV processing engine designed to reduce noise, improve speed and boost colour reproduction. The camera also features sensitivity levels starting from ISO 100 to ISO 25600 as well as a continuous shooting mode that can shoot at 8 frames per second.

A 3.7-inch WVGA full touchscreen is located at the back with an interface similar to that of the Galaxy camera. The NX2000 also come equipped with NFC that allows users to quickly connect to a Wi-Fi network and upload images directly to social networking sites such as Facebook. It also has a dedicated button to toggle Autoshare which automatically transfers images directly to a linked device.

The camera will support up to 12 types of lenses including pancake lenses, zoom and portrait lenses to name a few. The NX2000 will also come with a free copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 and will be available in black, white or pink with pricing to be announced soon.
