Releasing the Galaxy S5 in April clearly wasn't enough for Samsung; the organisation will reportedly launch a new addition to the Galaxy series next month. Dubbed the Galaxy Alpha, the new flagship will reportedly be unveiled be on August 13, just in time to compete with the upcoming iPhone 6.

The Galaxy Alpha will reportedly have a metal build, a feature shared with the previously leaked Galaxy F (also known the Galaxy S5 Prime); it is speculated that Galaxy Alpha will be the official name for the long rumoured phone. Leaked specifications suggest the device will use a 5.3" QHD screen and a Snapdragon 805 quad core processor. The phone is also said to be smaller than the Galaxy S5.
