Samsung have gone and done a world first with the world’s first bendable OLED screen.

Organic Light Emitting Diodes – also known as OLED’s – are getting really big lately and this new development is a 4.3 inch screen with a contrast ratio of a thousand to one giving it a very cool picture.

While in the experimental stage, developments like this that use small amounts of energy might soon be used to let us watch TV in things like the sleeves of our clothes.

And really, it’s nice to see developments like this taking shape. Why, one day I suspect I’ll be able to fulfill my dream of wrapping paper that let’s me watch TV on it while I figure out how to unwrap a birthday present.
