Samsung today announced the newest member of its WB series of long-zoom cameras – the WB110.
The WB110 boasts a 26x optical zoom and a 22.3mm Ultra Wide angle lens. It has a 20.2-megapixel sensor and a smart auto mode that analyses key elements in a composition and automatically adjusts photo and movie settings to help users capture the best shot possible.
There’s also a Live Panorama mode that lets users photograph a seemingly endless panoramic shots and preview them live on the screen by simply holding the shutter-button and sweeping across the scene.
The WB110 features a 3.0-inch HVGA LCD screen that automatically detects optimal light level for any situation that ensures that images and videos can be replayed easily and clearly. The camera can capture 720p HD-qualtiy video at 30fps which can be stored in MP4 format.
There’s no information yet on pricing or its date of availability. Based on its specs, we don’t expect the WB110 to be priced in the same range as other superzoom cameras, which is in the $300-$500 range.
