Samsung’s flip-style Android phone is now official and is now known as the Hennessy.

The smartphone boasts two 3.3-inch touch displays with a resolution of 320×480 pixels each. The Hennessy is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU with 1GB of RAM. There’s a 5MP snapper at the back with LED flash.

The smartphone is powered by a 1500mAh and will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It’s also on the heavier side of things at 208g and almost twice the thickness of the Galaxy S4. The handset also has two SIM card slots supporting both tri-band GSM and dual-band CDMA.

At the moment, this is the only information that Samsung released about the Hennessy. It’s also uncertain if the handset will set sail beyond Chinese shores, or about its pricing and availability. But it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Hennessy becomes exclusive to China especially given the fact that the international market favours candybar type of phones that allow manufacturers to fit the biggest screens and batteries.

But in case the Hennessy comes to Australia, would you get one? Why or why not? Do tell us by leaving a comment below.
