Samsung today announced the Galaxy NX, the world’s first 4G interchangeable lens Connected Compact System Camera (CSC) in its event in London.

Samsung today announced the Galaxy NX, the world’s first 4G interchangeable lens Connected Compact System Camera (CSC) in its event in London.

The Galaxy NX sports a 20.3MP APS-C sensor paired with a DRIMe IV Image Signal Processer. It also has an Advanced Auto Focus system that ensures accurate phase and contrast detection to help users capture crisp and vibrant shots. And since it’s an Interchangeable Lens Camera, users have the flexibility of using a variety of lenses to fit their needs.

Also, its Galaxy branding indicates that it runs on Android operating system, specifically Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. This means that the camera can use the vast number of Android apps in Google Play to help extend its functionality.

There are more than 30 smart mode options users can choose from. The Galaxy NX also a number of photo enhancing features including Multi-exposure, Animated Photo for creating GIF files, Sound & Shot and Camera Studio which allows users to easily customise settings with their most frequently used apps or camera modes.
