Samsung is now starting to proliferate its Neo of smartphones as another smartphone bearing the Neo brand gets official today.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo comes with a 5-inch display with a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Under the bonnet is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.
There’s also a 5MP snapper at the back and a front-facing VGA camera for self-portraits and video calls. The Galaxy Grand Neo also comes with the usual connectivity features including Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n but lacks LTE connectivity.
The smartphones power plant is a 2100mAh battery while its OS will be Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. At present, the Galaxy Grand Neo is already listed in a Dutch online retailer store for approximately AU$403. There’s no specific information yet on international shipping dates but the smartphone is expected to go on sale in other markets in a few days.
