Samsung’s NaviBot maps and vacuums your home at the touch of a button. This small but device is capable of moving in complete autonomy over multiple surfaces in the home including carpets, rugs, wooden floors and tiles – scooping up everything from fluff and dust, to everyday dirt, crumbs and animal hair.

It maps the layout of your home for automatic vacuuming. The clever cleaner is fitted with a camera that takes 30 photos every second to help it identify the areas it needs to cover. Capable of cleaning up to 100m2 of floor in just 40 minutes, its 38 in-built sensors allow it to negotiate obstacles, such as table legs and sofas and prevent it from tumbling down stairs. Users can set the timer to suit your individual.

Featuring a Visionary Mapping System, the NaviBot is a vacuum cleaner has a Virtual Fence mode that allows users to screen off areas of the home that they don’t want cleaned, like an open fire, baby’s play area or wet floor.

The vacuum’s Virtual Guard mode allows users to direct the unit from room to room according to their preferred order, so it can clean a living room while the owner is in the kitchen. Brushes on either side of the robot are designed to clean right to the edges of a room and roll over surfaces such as thick rugs and carpets.

It comes equipped with three anti-tangle sensors that automatically unwind any cords and carpet tassels it encounters, and if it is picked up, or in the unlikely event it topples over, its Auto-Stop function immediately shuts it down. It even makes its way back to its docking station to recharge when it runs low on power. Once it’s recuperated, the vacuum cleaner’s memory will retrace its steps and continue cleaning where it left off.

Power and rotating side brushes pick up pet hairs, while preventing them from wrapping and getting tangled around the brushes. Helping to alleviate triggers for allergies and asthma, the unit also traps and holds up to 0.6L of dust, filtering the finer particles through a washable filter. The 0.6L capacity means the Samsung NaviBot can run several cleans without needing to be emptied every time.

The NaviBot is less than 40cm in diameter and 10cm high.
