Western Digital recently announced the My Book AV-TV that allows customers to instantly enable their TV recoring features to store and playback movies and TV series directly a compatible TV.
In addition, the My Book AV-TV can also pause, rewind or fast forward live TV so users can control and enjoy the shows that they are watching at their convenience.
The My Book AV-TV is available in either 1 or 2 terabyte configurations and easily connects directly with built-in recording capability to provide storage for standard or high-definition entertainment programming. It also features WD’s GreenPower Technology that optimises the customer experience with smooth video playback of recorded content. It also uses less power and keeps the device cool.
The drive uses a fast USB 3.0 connection that enabled multiple HD streaming for simultaneous recording and playback for customers who want to connect the My Book AV-TV to a dual-tuner television.
The Western Digital My Book AV-TV is now available in Australia and New Zealand with the 1TB version retailing for AU$139 (NZ$179) and the 2TB version retailing for AU$179 (NZ$229).
