Google’s Android TV platform has just been released a few hours ago at Google I/O and we’re now seeing the hardware that will bring the Google experience into our TVs.

Razer was the first to unveil its set-top box powered by Android TV. Simply known as the “Micro-console”, the device will be shipping to homes in the coming months. It will be able to stream movies, music and other apps for large-screen entertainment with a strong focus on gaming.

Details about the specs of the micro-console remain scarce so there are still a lot of things to watch for with this device. For starters, we don’t know how if Razer will be packaging the console with its own custom controller and how it will connect to the device (wireless, Bluetooth, etc.).

What’s sure though is that the micro-console will deliver the Android TV functionality we saw at Google I/O earlier this morning. These include voice control, centralised search functionality and integration with Google Play Games to name a few.
