The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is probably one of them most powerful smartphones in the market today. Aside from bagging top-of-the-line specs, this phablet also comes with a massive display and a number of productivity features that make it a portable productivity device for a lot of people. However, it also comes with a hefty price tag that makes it out of reach from most consumers.

Luckily, a slightly watered-down version of the Note 3 may soon be announced that gives hope for consumers in need for a powerful device at a lower price point.

The Galaxy Note 3 Neo has been previously rumoured, but it was only today that we saw clearer images of the said device courtesy of popular Samsung-centric website Sammobile. Basically, the Note 3 Neo is almost identical to the Note 3 in terms of looks but have slightly lower specs.

Under the Note 3 Neo’s skin is a brand new Exynos chipset with a hexa-core processor (1.7GHz dual-core + 1.3GHz quad-core), 2GB of RAM, 8MP camera, 16GB of internal storage and 3100mAh battery. There’s also a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will reportedly be unveiled at this year’s Mobile world Congress in Barcelona this February for around 925 dollars.
