Power Distribution Box Recalled

  • Sold between Jan-April 2011
  • Could give electric shock
  • Sold throughout Australia

AMX’s NXA-PDU power distribution unit has been put on the recall list by the ACCC due to a recently identified hazard.

According to the recall notice users of the device could get a possible electric shock if equipment connected to the outputs of the PDU is opened for servicing or inspection.

It is believed that the incorrect polarity for wiring on 240VAC inlet is the cause of the problem.

The NXA-PDU was sold throughout Australia at a variety of retail outlets. It is recommended that any person who bought such a unit between those dates should disconnect it from the mains supply and then contact the manufacturer AMX Australia.
