Uniden has introduced two new products to its Bluetooth range: a wireless music speaker and a portable teleconference speakerphone designed to stream music via Bluetooth
The BTS150 Bluetooth HD music and full duplex speakerphone weigh in at less than 230g, and is portable without sacrificing audio quality, claims Uniden.
It is equipped with a 6 Watt RMS speaker, dual 35mm drivers and a subwoofer for extreme bass. Music lovers and film buffs that have their digital libraries stored across a multitude of devices will be able to pair the BTS 150 with both Android and Apple tablets and smartphones as well as other Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices, making it easy to broadcast and share content from a variety of sources.
Utilising the latest noise and echo cancellation technology, as well as an in-built microphone for hands-free calling and conferencing, it doubles as a car-kit and features up to five hours playing time.
Then there is the BTS200 Bluetooth portable teleconference and music speakerphone, which is designed for hands-free calling and conferencing on the go.
Featuring 4 Watt RMS speakers and 50mm dual drivers, the its speakers provide good sound quality for call clarity ensuring it is also a suitable for playing music wirelessly.
An additional feature for the mobile business executive is the BTS 200’s removable battery. Enabled for external connection via USB, the battery can be used to re-energise smartphones, tablets, personal music players and other portable devices on the fly.
Both units also connect to any device with a 3.5mm audio jack. This port can be used to connect with, and play music stored on mobile devices through, older hi-fi systems which don’t offer a portable media player dock or USB port.
