Google Glass may soon get access to Android’s Play Store as the device have been seen in the list of potential devices when installing from the Play Store on the web.

At present, Google Glass users can install apps on their device by first going into a specific My Glass portal and download and install the apps from there. The appearance of Google Glass on the Play Store is seen by many as a good indication that the company’s head up display may soon go mainstream and a prerequisite would be to incorporate the device into Google’s existing services.

The option to install an app to Google Glass is still greyed out and currently, there is no way to force the installation of an app. But since Google updates the Glass every month, a lot of people are expecting that future updates will provide the connection between their device and the Play Store.
