Pixel 4 will have 90Hz screen

Details about Google’s upcoming Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL keep surfacing. This time, it’s a more in-depth spec sheet with notable new features.

The two new Pixels are reported to have 5.7-inch and 6.3-inch displays, for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL respectively. The Pixel 4 has a Full HD display while the XL has a Quad HD screen. The latest report says both screens have a higher refresh rate than typical phones – 90 Hz, meaning animations and general usage will look smoother.

The Pixel 4 series camera specs are also getting out there. Apparently the new Pixels will have two rear camera sensors – one 12MP lens with sophisticated autofocus, along with a 16MP telephoto lens. Rumor has it that Google is developing an attachment for the rear camera array to improve quality.

Previously confirmed details include the glass front and rear construction, the new Snapdragon 855 processor, and 6GB of RAM. Storage options are reportedly 64GB or 128GB.

With the current trend of Pixel 4 news, we’ll likely see plenty more before the official announcement in October.
