Cars with ultra futuristic gadgets like out Knight Rider might not be as far off as you’d think.

Pioneer has just shown off a new dashboard system at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show. It combines two LCD screens as well as a third panel showing 3D projections.

Making it even cooler, the whole system is gesture controlled. This means all you have to do is flick your hands or fingers in such a way while you’re driving and you’ll be able to switch between options like GPS navigation, the radio, and more.
