Philips Develop New Window Technology

Have you ever found yourself in an amazingly sunny room where you just wanted less light to come in?

Have you ever found yourself in an amazingly sunny room where you just wanted less light to come in?

Philips have taken a page out of their recent Ambilight TV technology with the Dynamic Daylight, a window that reduces the light coming through a window by using the light to create a different colour from the sky. This means that a lot of light can be lessened by just shifting the colour of the windows to a different colour like a red or purple. It also creates animated blinds that can be controlled by motion sensors as you approach the window from various directions.

While the Philips Dynamic Daylight Window isn’t expected to be on the market any time soon, when it does, it could be an excellent way to keep the sun coming in while still allowing you to get some rest.
