Pendo Charger Recall

• Sold with Pendo Pad
• Gives off electric shock
• Stop using immediately

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has sent out a recall for the plug-in charger/power supply supplied with the Pendo Pad.

It is the model number SAW-091500 and was on sale between February and June this year. The ACCC says that there is a risk that the charger may cause an electric shock.

The manufacturer, Pendo is aware of one case where a manufacturing defect in a component resulted in the charger unit not being electrically safe.

It was sold nationally by Dodo and Harvey Norman. The ACCC also says people should stop using the charger and complete the on-line form at www.pendo.com.au/recall or call 1800 767 841.
