Panasonic Australia has launched an entire fleet of Audio-Video products today including a set of LED/LCD TVs, Plasma TVs, 3D Blu Ray Home Theatre Systems, Compact stereo systems, Mini systems, Sound bars and even wireless speakers and docks for tablets and smartphones.

Leading the bunch are the company’s Plasma, LED and LCD TVs that come in different sizes ranging from the slightly modest 24-inch models to the massive 65-inch displays. Panasonic’s television sets come equipped with a host of smart and social functions.

These include the My Home Screen feature which serves as the face of a redesigned Smart TV interface that can be personalised to meet the needs of each viewer.  Users can line up their apps in order of preference; add a calendar, clock, weather report or web content.

There’s also the company’s Smart VIERA Voice Interaction function that works pretty much like Siri or other voice-activated AI on smartphones and tablets. A voice guidance feature is also incorporated in the Viera system that can read out texts on web pages and various TV settings which are often difficult to see from a distance.

And for interconnectivity, Panasonic’s line of TVs feature Swipe and Share 2.0 which lets users to share content from their smart phones and tablets by doing a simple swipe up or swipe down gesture which will either share or grab photos or other content displayed on the TV.

Next on the list is Panasonic’s Home Theatre, compact stereo and mini systems. Aside from delivering quality sound to consumers, the company’s audio systems pack a few extra features such as built-in Wi-Fi, DLNA functionality, compatibility with remote control apps for smartphones and tablets, and  integration with Apple devices through an integrate Lightning Pin dock to name a few that adds more value to the product line compared to regular systems.
