Optus offering unlimited broadband bundles for $90 per month

Optus today announced that it has dropped the price of three of its unlimited data broadband bands to AUD$90 per month for customers who sign up for a 24 month contract before April 6. The bundles in question are Optus' Broadband and Home Phone Bundle, Entertainment Bundle and Big Home Bundle, which are all normally billed at AUD$115 per month.

In addition to unlimited data, Optus' three unlimited broadband bundles are as follows:

The Broadband and Home Phone Bundle includes unlimited standard local and national calls to Australian landlines, unlimited standard calls to Australian mobiles, and unlimited standard calls to landlines in 25 countries and mobiles in 7 countries.

The Entertainment bundle includes unlimited standard local and national calls to Australian landlines, and a Fetch TV with subscriptions to both the Connect Pack and Entertainment Pack.

The Big Home Bundle includes unlimited standard local and national calls to Australian landlines, and a Fetch TV with a subscription to the Connect Pack and an 8.4-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

All hardware, delivery and connection fees are included in the monthly rate.

An Optus spokesperson said that the data provided is truly unlimited, providing the customer isn't using it for illicit purposes. The broadband component of the offer can be delivered via ADSL2+, Optus' cable network or NBN fibre depending on local availability.
