Nokia is reportedly working on a Windows Phone-powered phablet to compete in the growing phablet market segment.
According to a report by the Financial Times, the Finnish company is planning to build a phablet similar in size with Samsung’s Galaxy Note but will have advanced specification. The phone might also come equipped with a 1080p screen and support for a quad-core CPU.
The report also mentions an update about the Nokia EOS – the company’s long rumoured Windows Phone handset with a 41-megapixel PureView sensor which is expected to come by July. Earlier reports hinted that Nokia might be developing two Nokia EOS models with one model packing a dual-core processor while the other a quad-core processor inside a Snapdragon 800 chip.
Lastly, the report also mentioned something about an advanced version of the Lumia 920. Earlier this week, leaked images of an Aluminium-accented Nokia handset surfaced on the internet which many dubbed as the Nokia Catwalk.
