The niche for “Mini” smartphones will soon no longer be an Android exclusive as rumours are spreading that Nokia might welcome a miniature version of its current flagship smartphone – the Lumia 1520 come April 2014.

According to a story by wpbar, the Finnish company is prepping a 4.3-inch version of the Lumia 1520 that will be called the Lumia 1520V. The rumoured handset will reportedly have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip with a quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 14MP camera, 32GB of internal memory (with support for expansion via a microSD card) and a 3000mAh battery.

But the most interesting bit of info about the Lumia 1520V would be the screen resolution. Even though the smartphone’s screen is only 4.3 inches, the resolution will still be 1920 x 1080 pixels, which should equate for a pixel density of 513ppi – that’s pixel density equivalent to 2K display smartphones.

The Nokia Lumia 1520V is expected to be released in April alongside Windows Phone 8.1.
