New information about the next-generation Nexus 7 tablet surfaced today all over the internet. The news comes courtesy of Engadget and pegs the arrival of the tablet on July 20, just a few days before the announced Google event on July 24.
In another document from an inventory listing, the Nexus 7 II will reportedly sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chip with a quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 16/32GB of on-board storage. There’s also a big possibility that the device will run the latest version of Android which is version 4.3.
A leaked video of the device was also leaked today from Android fan site Android Central. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t show any information about the device’s software so we suggest taking this story with a generous amount of salt. The next-generation Nexus 7 will be priced at AU$248 for the 16GB version and AU$291 for the 32GB model.
