BlackBerry’s premium handsets that are co-designed by Porsche are as rare as they go with the last being the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9881 which was launched back in 2011.
Today, a leaked video shows the latest Porsche Design BlackBerry – the P’9982. The new handset looks identical to the company’s former flagship – the BlackBerry Z10 so it would be surprising that the P’9982 is based on the said device. As with other Porsche Design handsets, the P’9982 will sport a premium finish this time with a leather battery cover.
Looking at the video alone, it appears the phone will be using stock BB OS just like the Z10. However, it will still be priced as a premium handset at over $2000. The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9982 will be available before the end of 2013.
